Home Runs and Hair Cuts

Last weekend when we were discussing hair cuts and the need for the whole family to get one before we left for Texas, Michael came up with this crazy idea. Cannon, for a while now has not gone with the Simmons buzz and has wanted longer hair. It isn't that long but Michael deep down wishes that he would just cut it short like the rest of the boys. So, in the spirit of fun, Michael came up with a bet with Cannon. He told Cannon that if he wasn't able to hit a home run before we left for Texas he would get to cut Cannon's hair however he wanted(everyone knowing that meant shaved bald.) Cannon surprisingly agreed but then asked what do I get if I do hit a home run? Michael then agreed that Cannon could cut his hair however he wanted(also knowing it would be shaved.) Well, we had a game on Friday night and guess what happened? Yep you guessed it Cannon hit his first home run of the year! So that is why my husband now has no hair. Cannon was a little nervous about shaving his dad's head because he didn't think he would look cool. But he finally did it and had fun
Moral of the story don't ever bet against one of your kids!
